I've taken adsense off of my blog for a short period of time if you were wondering why ads aren't displayed this is why. According to google some of my traffic sources was from unwanted or misleading advertising. I contest this as I've never said this website is anything other than a blog about what it is but to play safe I have removed ads until I get a response from google confirming the mistake.
I believe the issue has arisen from a website known as fwebtraffic as to google this probably appears like a paid-to-click programme which it is not, however I would suggest not using this site for the time being if you too receive a small income from adsense.
i looked into fwebtraffic, did the 6 links once, didnt see much of a difference in my traffic. Good looking out!
ReplyDeletehmm, maybe it was because of fwebtraffic they took me off too. oh well i just use adbright now.
ReplyDeleteDoh, I hope they let you bring it back soon!
ReplyDeleteadsense gets scared once a blog starts to make a little money
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately AdBrite deemed my site adult even though nothing is explicitly pornographic so I'm kinda stuck with adsense.
ReplyDeleteHey! You too?! I thought I was the only one! At first I thought it was because of my ad placement but I'm not so sure anymore.
ReplyDeleteMy ads are still on my blog though so I guess I passed the test. I didn't use fwebtraffic though so I'm not sure what the problem is.
If you could get back to me as to other reasons why we got that message I'd appreciate it. Sept 14 is when they sent it to you right?
Yeah David and I've still not had a response since sending them a message. I'll reactivate ads on the 20th if I still haven't had a response as I'll assume it was a computing error.
ReplyDeletesorry to hear that :(
ReplyDeleteThats a shame. I'm sure other people will be complaining to Adsense aswell. Once they reach a high number of people using this service they will have to allow it. Google wants their profit ;)

ReplyDeleteat least they gave you a chance to explain yourself before just pulling the plug :) hope your blog stays online even without the profit
ReplyDeleteBest of luck brother! I really enjoy this blog and hope it doesn't get pulled down for some silly misleading reason.
